Dhadda Hundal is a village of Nakodar tehsil in Jalandhar district, Punjab, in the Doaba region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Nakodar, about 14 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Nakodar community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 029898, and it covers 123 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 286 people in Dhadda Hundal: 145 men and 141 women, living in 64 households, an average of about 4.5 people per household. Spread over its 123 hectares, the population density works out to about 233 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 972 women for every 1,000 men. Children up to the age of six numbered 31, about 11 per cent of the village. Scheduled Castes made up 71 people, about 25 per cent of the population, and no Scheduled Tribe population was recorded.
