Ballo Chak is a village of Bhulath tehsil in Kapurthala district, Punjab, in the Doaba region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Begowal, about 2 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Nadala community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 029060, and it covers 298 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 1,382 people in Ballo Chak: 741 men and 641 women, living in 253 households, an average of about 5.5 people per household. Spread over its 298 hectares, the population density works out to about 464 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 865 women for every 1,000 men.
