Dodawazir is a village in Sultanpur Lodhi tehsil of Kapurthala district in Punjab, India. It lies in the Doaba region, and the 2011 directory recorded Kapurthala, about 24 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Sultanpur Lodhi community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 029397, and it covers 117 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 301 people in Dodawazir: 169 men and 132 women, living in 50 households, an average of about 6.0 people per household. Spread over its 117 hectares, the population density works out to about 257 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 781 women for every 1,000 men.
