Where is Kutbewala?

Kutbewala is a village of Sultanpur Lodhi tehsil in Kapurthala district, Punjab, in the Doaba region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Kapurthala, about 12 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Sultanpur Lodhi community development block and is served by the Kutbewal gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 029369, and it covers 176 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 493 people in Kutbewala: 253 men and 240 women, living in 102 households, an average of about 4.8 people per household.
