Mitha is a village in Kapurthala tehsil of Kapurthala district in Punjab, India. It lies in the Doaba region, and the 2011 directory recorded Kapurthala, about 15 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Kapurthala community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 029347, and it covers 175 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 209 people in Mitha: 106 men and 103 women, living in 45 households, an average of about 4.6 people per household. Spread over its 175 hectares, the population density works out to about 120 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 972 women for every 1,000 men.
