Paman is a village of Sultanpur Lodhi tehsil in Kapurthala district, Punjab, in the Doaba region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Sultanpur Lodhi, about 8 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Sultanpur Lodhi community development block and has its own gram panchayat. The 2011 census counted 633 people in Paman: 310 men and 323 women, living in 121 households, an average of about 5.2 people per household.
