Salehpur Dona is a village of Sultanpur Lodhi tehsil in Kapurthala district, Punjab, in the Doaba region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Sultanpur Lodhi, about 16 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Sultanpur Lodhi community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 029493, and it covers 146 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 286 people in Salehpur Dona: 142 men and 144 women, living in 49 households, an average of about 5.8 people per household. Spread over its 146 hectares, the population density works out to about 196 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 1014 women for every 1,000 men.
