Where is Todarwal?

Todarwal is a village of Sultanpur Lodhi tehsil in Kapurthala district, Punjab, in the Doaba region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Kapurthala, about 16 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Sultanpur Lodhi community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 029360, and it covers 34 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 392 people in Todarwal: 192 men and 200 women, living in 79 households, an average of about 5.0 people per household. Spread over its 34 hectares, the population density works out to about 1,154 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 1042 women for every 1,000 men.
