Where is Allowal?

Allowal is a village of Ludhiana West tehsil in Ludhiana district, Punjab, in the Malwa region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Ludhiana, about 10 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Ludhiana-II community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 033629, and it covers 378 hectares.

The 2011 census counted 624 people in Allowal: 325 men and 299 women, living in 135 households, an average of about 4.6 people per household.
