Burj Kacha is a village of Samrala tehsil in Ludhiana district, Punjab, in the Malwa region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Machhiwara, about 3 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The 2011 census counted 440 people in Burj Kacha: 239 men and 201 women, living in 86 households, an average of about 5.1 people per household.
