Where is Milakwal?

Milakwal is a village of Samrala tehsil in Ludhiana district, Punjab, in the Malwa region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Machhiwara, about 15 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Machhiwara community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 033006, and it covers 383 hectares.

The 2011 census counted 681 people in Milakwal: 363 men and 318 women, living in 128 households, an average of about 5.3 people per household.
