It lies in the Malwa region, and the 2011 directory recorded Machhiwara, about 13 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The 2011 census counted 270 people in Rajewal Rajputtan: 140 men and 130 women, living in 56 households, an average of about 4.8 people per household.
