Where is Sangatpura?

Sangatpura is a village of Samrala tehsil in Ludhiana district, Punjab, in the Malwa region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Samrala, about 12 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Samrala community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 033137, and it covers 204 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 885 people in Sangatpura: 483 men and 402 women, living in 163 households, an average of about 5.4 people per household.
