Where is Bunga?

Bunga is a village of Malerkotla tehsil in Malerkotla district, Punjab, in the Malwa region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Malerkotla, about 10 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Malerkotla-I community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 039479, and it covers 255 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 440 people in Bunga: 228 men and 212 women, living in 90 households, an average of about 4.9 people per household.
