Where is Fatta Maluka?

Fatta Maluka is a village in Sardulgarh tehsil of Mansa district in Punjab, India. It lies in the Malwa region, and the 2011 directory recorded Sardulgarh, about 12 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Sardulgarh community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 035976, and it covers 2,328 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 6,985 people in Fatta Maluka: 3,653 men and 3,332 women, living in 1,333 households, an average of about 5.2 people per household. Spread over its 2,328 hectares, the population density works out to about 300 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 912 women for every 1,000 men. Children up to the age of six numbered 769, about 11 per cent of the village. Scheduled Castes made up 2,388 people, about 34 per cent of the population, and no Scheduled Tribe population was recorded.
