The 2011 directory recorded Dina Nagar, about 10 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Pathankot community development block and has its own gram panchayat. The 2011 census counted 436 people in Ferozepur Khurd: 235 men and 201 women, living in 80 households, an average of about 5.5 people per household.
