Gandran Lahri is a village of Pathankot tehsil in Pathankot district, Punjab, in the Majha region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Sujanpur, about 3 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Sujanpur community development block and is served by the Gandran Lahri, Rattan Colony Gandla Larhi gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 027447, and it covers 137 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 2,574 people in Gandran Lahri: 1,342 men and 1,232 women, living in 486 households, an average of about 5.3 people per household. Spread over its 137 hectares, the population density works out to about 1,879 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 918 women for every 1,000 men. Children up to the age of six numbered 298, about 12 per cent of the village.
