Where is Maira Kalan?

Maira Kalan is a village in Pathankot tehsil of Pathankot district in Punjab, India. It lies in the Majha region, and the 2011 directory recorded Pathankot, about 14 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Narot Jaimal Singh community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 027613, and it covers 539 hectares.

The 2011 census counted 312 people in Maira Kalan: 168 men and 144 women, living in 57 households, an average of about 5.5 people per household.
