Where is Turehti?

Turehti is a village of Pathankot tehsil in Pathankot district, Punjab, in the Majha region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Pathankot, about 13 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Dhar Kalan community development block and is served by the Tarhati Narangpur gram panchayat. The 2011 census counted 1,540 people in Turehti: 817 men and 723 women, living in 289 households, an average of about 5.3 people per household.
