Bosar Kalan is a village of Patiala tehsil in Patiala district, Punjab, in the Malwa region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Sanaur, about 5 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The 2011 census counted 1,540 people in Bosar Kalan: 807 men and 733 women, living in 277 households, an average of about 5.6 people per household.
