Jandauli is a village in Rajpura tehsil of Patiala district in Punjab, India. It lies in the Malwa region, and the 2011 directory recorded Rajpura, about 2 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Rajpura community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 036963, and it covers 209 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 4,352 people in Jandauli: 2,324 men and 2,028 women, living in 843 households, an average of about 5.2 people per household. Spread over its 209 hectares, the population density works out to about 2,082 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 873 women for every 1,000 men. Children up to the age of six numbered 557, about 13 per cent of the village. Scheduled Castes made up 592 people, about 14 per cent of the population, and no Scheduled Tribe population was recorded.
