The village falls in the Nabha community development block and is served by the Jhambali Sahni gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 036450, and it covers 101 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 490 people in Jhambali sahni: 267 men and 223 women, living in 106 households, an average of about 4.6 people per household. Spread over its 101 hectares, the population density works out to about 485 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 835 women for every 1,000 men.
