Where is Nathu Majra?

Nathu Majra is a village of Rajpura tehsil in Patiala district, Punjab, in the Malwa region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Rajpura, about 17 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Ghanaur community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 036914, and it covers 147 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 596 people in Nathu Majra: 308 men and 288 women, living in 103 households, an average of about 5.8 people per household. Spread over its 147 hectares, the population density works out to about 405 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 935 women for every 1,000 men.
