Where is Rangian?

Rangian is a village of Rajpura tehsil in Patiala district, Punjab, in the Malwa region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Rajpura, about 8 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Rajpura community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 037006, and it covers 167 hectares.

The 2011 census counted 693 people in Rangian: 374 men and 319 women, living in 122 households, an average of about 5.7 people per household.
