Where is Naina?

Naina is a village of Rajpura tehsil in Patiala district, Punjab, in the Malwa region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Rajpura, about 10 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Rajpura community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 037008, and it covers 174 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 479 people in Naina: 261 men and 218 women, living in 100 households, an average of about 4.8 people per household. Spread over its 174 hectares, the population density works out to about 275 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 835 women for every 1,000 men.
