Where is Sarai Banjara?

Sarai Banjara is a village of Rajpura tehsil in Patiala district, Punjab, in the Malwa region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Rajpura, about 13 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Rajpura community development block and is served by the Sarai Banjara Basti gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 036995, and it covers 64 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 897 people in Sarai Banjara: 465 men and 432 women, living in 192 households, an average of about 4.7 people per household.
