The 2011 census counted 2,290 people in Sidhuwal: 1,289 men and 1,001 women, living in 478 households, an average of about 4.8 people per household. Spread over its 644 hectares, the population density works out to about 356 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 777 women for every 1,000 men. Children up to the age of six numbered 259, about 11 per cent of the village.
