Rajo Majra is a village in Dhuri tehsil of Sangrur district in Punjab, India. It lies in the Malwa region, and the 2011 directory recorded Dhuri, about 5 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Dhuri community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 039619, and it covers 1,013 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 2,556 people in Rajo Majra: 1,341 men and 1,215 women, living in 535 households, an average of about 4.8 people per household. Spread over its 1,013 hectares, the population density works out to about 252 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 906 women for every 1,000 men. Children up to the age of six numbered 263, about 10 per cent of the village. Scheduled Castes made up 905 people, about 35 per cent of the population, and no Scheduled Tribe population was recorded.

Literacy in 2011 stood at 68.38 per cent among residents aged seven and above, with men at 73.83 per cent and women at 62.4 per cent.
