The village falls in the Banga community development block and is served by the Chak Bilga gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 032173, and it covers 216 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 1,822 people in Chak Bilgan: 903 men and 919 women, living in 389 households, an average of about 4.7 people per household. Children up to the age of six numbered 193, about 11 per cent of the village.
