Pannu Mazara is a village of Nawanshahr tehsil in SBS Nagar district, Punjab, in the Doaba region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Nawansahar, about 3 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Nawanshahr community development block and is served by the Punnu Majra gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 032077, and it covers 162 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 1,368 people in Pannu Mazara: 680 men and 688 women, living in 311 households, an average of about 4.4 people per household. Spread over its 162 hectares, the population density works out to about 844 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 1012 women for every 1,000 men.
