Where is Munawan?

Munawan is a village of Patti tehsil in Tarn Taran district, Punjab, in the Majha region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Khem Karan, about 4 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Valtoha community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 038116, and it covers 443 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 1,000 people in Munawan: 521 men and 479 women, living in 164 households, an average of about 6.1 people per household.
