Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann told the Punjab Assembly on Friday that his hold-up at Delhi airport on his return from France was political revenge, alleging that the head of Delhi Customs is the brother of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. He said officials kept him aside for two hours, checked his luggage, found nothing, and fined him Rs 50,000 citing pressure from above.ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਸ਼ੁੱਕਰਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਫਰਾਂਸ ਤੋਂ ਵਾਪਸੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਹਵਾਈ ਅੱਡੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕਣਾ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਬਦਲਾਖੋਰੀ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਾਇਆ ਕਿ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਕਸਟਮ ਦਾ ਮੁਖੀ ਮੁੱਖ ਚੋਣ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਗਿਆਨੇਸ਼ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਦਾ ਭਰਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਦੋ ਘੰਟੇ ਬਿਠਾਈ ਰੱਖਿਆ, ਸਮਾਨ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਕੀਤੀ, ਕੁਝ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਤੋਂ ਦਬਾਅ ਦਾ ਹਵਾਲਾ ਦੇ ਕੇ 50,000 ਰੁਪਏ ਜੁਰਮਾਨਾ ਲਾਇਆ।
