Prabh Gill is a Punjabi singer, songwriter and actor from Ludhiana in Punjab, India, known for romantic songs sung in a soft, emotional voice. His best known tracks include Bacha, Mere Kol, Teri Aakad, Shukar Dateya and Tareyaan De Des, and he made his acting debut in Yaar Anmulle Returns in 2021.

Early life and training in Ludhiana

Singer profiles agree that Prabh Gill was born on 23 December 1984 in Ludhiana, and that he was born and raised in the city. ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਉਦਯੋਗ ਦੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਨਮਾਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਰੋਮਾਂਟਿਕ ਦੌਰ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਨਤਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ। 26 ਮਈ 2016 ਨੂੰ ਹੋਏ ਪੀ.ਟੀ.ਸੀ. ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਮਿਊਜ਼ਿਕ ਅਵਾਰਡਜ਼ 2016 ਵਿੱਚ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਲ ਦਾ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵਧੀਆ ਰੋਮਾਂਟਿਕ ਗੀਤ ਐਲਾਨਿਆ ਗਿਆ, ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਡੇਸੀ ਪਿਆਰ ਲਈ ਸੁਦੇਸ਼ ਕੁਮਾਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵਧੀਆ ਜੁਗਲ ਗਾਇਕ ਦਾ ਸਨਮਾਨ ਸਾਂਝਾ ਕੀਤਾ। ਪੀ.ਟੀ.ਸੀ. ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਮਿਊਜ਼ਿਕ ਅਵਾਰਡਜ਼ 2018 ਵਿੱਚ ਤਾਰਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਦੇਸ ਨੇ ਸਾਲ ਦਾ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵਧੀਆ ਰੋਮਾਂਟਿਕ ਗੀਤ ਦਾ ਖ਼ਿਤਾਬ ਜਿੱਤਿਆ, ਇੱਕ ਦੂਜਾ ਰੋਮਾਂਟਿਕ ਸਨਮਾਨ, ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਪੁਸ਼ਟੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਉਦਯੋਗ ਦੀਆਂ ਨਜ਼ਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਤਾਕਤ ਕਿੱਥੇ ਸੀ।
