Where is Midu Maan?

Midu Maan is a village of Faridkot tehsil in Faridkot district, Punjab, in the Malwa region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Faridkot, about 14 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Faridkot community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 035525, and it covers 359 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 882 people in Midu Maan: 464 men and 418 women, living in 172 households, an average of about 5.1 people per household. Spread over its 359 hectares, the population density works out to about 246 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 901 women for every 1,000 men.
