Pindi Balochan is a village in Faridkot tehsil of Faridkot district in Punjab, India. It lies in the Malwa region, and the 2011 directory recorded Faridkot, about 23 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Faridkot community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 035499, and it covers 1,077 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 1,632 people in Pindi Balochan: 853 men and 779 women, living in 296 households, an average of about 5.5 people per household. Spread over its 1,077 hectares, the population density works out to about 152 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 913 women for every 1,000 men. Children up to the age of six numbered 188, about 12 per cent of the village. Scheduled Castes made up 539 people, about 33 per cent of the population, and no Scheduled Tribe population was recorded.
