The 2011 census counted 1,549 people in Chak Manewala: 808 men and 741 women, living in 315 households, an average of about 4.9 people per household. Spread over its 325 hectares, the population density works out to about 477 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 917 women for every 1,000 men. Children up to the age of six numbered 204, about 13 per cent of the village.
