Chak Rakh Amir is a village of Jalalabad tehsil in Fazilka district, Punjab, in the Malwa region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Jalalabad, about 10 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Guru Har Sahai community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 034888, and it covers 195 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 474 people in Chak Rakh Amir: 255 men and 219 women, living in 88 households, an average of about 5.4 people per household. Spread over its 195 hectares, the population density works out to about 243 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 859 women for every 1,000 men.
