Aima Mangat is a village of Mukerian tehsil in Hoshiarpur district, Punjab, in the Doaba region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Mukerian, about 7 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Mukerian community development block and is served by the Aima-Mangat gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 031059, and it covers 181 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 1,005 people in Aima Mangat: 503 men and 502 women, living in 224 households, an average of about 4.5 people per household. Spread over its 181 hectares, the population density works out to about 555 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 998 women for every 1,000 men. Children up to the age of six numbered 100, about 10 per cent of the village.
