Bariana is a village in Mukerian tehsil of Hoshiarpur district in Punjab, India. It lies in the Doaba region, and the 2011 directory recorded Mukerian, about 8 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Hazipur community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 031192, and it covers 77 hectares.

The 2011 census counted 503 people in Bariana: 249 men and 254 women, living in 104 households, an average of about 4.8 people per household.
