Chak Kalan is a village in Mukerian tehsil of Hoshiarpur district in Punjab, India. It lies in the Doaba region, and the 2011 directory recorded Mukerian, about 13 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Mukerian community development block and is served by the Chak--Kalan gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 031221, and it covers 184 hectares.

The 2011 census counted 691 people in Chak Kalan: 342 men and 349 women, living in 145 households, an average of about 4.8 people per household. Spread over its 184 hectares, the population density works out to about 376 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 1020 women for every 1,000 men.
