Where is Dugari?

Dugari is a village of Dasua tehsil in Hoshiarpur district, Punjab, in the Doaba region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Dasua, about 4 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Dasua community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 030781, and it covers 125 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 599 people in Dugari: 300 men and 299 women, living in 126 households, an average of about 4.8 people per household. Spread over its 125 hectares, the population density works out to about 479 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 997 women for every 1,000 men.
