Jakowal is a village of Dasua tehsil in Hoshiarpur district, Punjab, in the Doaba region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Dasua, about 10 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The 2011 census counted 383 people in Jakowal: 193 men and 190 women, living in 74 households, an average of about 5.2 people per household.
