The 2011 census counted 3,249 people in Kandhala Jattan: 1,648 men and 1,601 women, living in 639 households, an average of about 5.1 people per household. Spread over its 344 hectares, the population density works out to about 944 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 971 women for every 1,000 men. Children up to the age of six numbered 380, about 12 per cent of the village.
