Nangal Thathal is a village of Hoshiarpur tehsil in Hoshiarpur district, Punjab, in the Doaba region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Gardhiwala, about 13 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Bhunga community development block and is served by the Nangal--Thathal gram panchayat. Population and households

The 2011 census counted 577 people in Nangal Thathal: 294 men and 283 women, living in 124 households, an average of about 4.7 people per household.
