Randhawa is a village in Dasua tehsil of Hoshiarpur district in Punjab, India. It lies in the Doaba region, and the 2011 directory recorded Dasua, about 4 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Dasua community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 030933, and it covers 193 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 1,596 people in Randhawa: 892 men and 704 women, living in 449 households, an average of about 3.6 people per household. Spread over its 193 hectares, the population density works out to about 827 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 789 women for every 1,000 men. Children up to the age of six numbered 147, about 9 per cent of the village. Scheduled Castes made up 355 people, about 22 per cent of the population, and no Scheduled Tribe population was recorded.
