Where is Pandori Musharkati?

Pandori Musharkati is a village of Phillaur tehsil in Jalandhar district, Punjab, in the Doaba region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Nurmahal, about 14 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Rurka Kalan community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 030239, and it covers 419 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 1,543 people in Pandori Musharkati: 776 men and 767 women, living in 322 households, an average of about 4.8 people per household. Spread over its 419 hectares, the population density works out to about 368 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 988 women for every 1,000 men.
