Where is Madpur?

Madpur is a village of Samrala tehsil in Ludhiana district, Punjab, in the Malwa region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Samrala, about 10 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The 2011 census counted 2,186 people in Madpur: 1,132 men and 1,054 women, living in 443 households, an average of about 4.9 people per household.
