Langiana Purana is a village of Bagha Purana tehsil in Moga district, Punjab, in the Malwa region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Bagha Purana, about 10 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Baghapurana community development block and has its own gram panchayat. The 2011 census counted 2,988 people in Langiana Purana: 1,569 men and 1,419 women, living in 554 households, an average of about 5.4 people per household.
