Where is Jhako Lahri?

Jhako Lahri is a village in Pathankot tehsil of Pathankot district in Punjab, India. It lies in the Majha region, and the 2011 directory recorded Pathankot, about 14 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Pathankot community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 027599, and it covers 70 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 514 people in Jhako Lahri: 263 men and 251 women, living in 97 households, an average of about 5.3 people per household. Spread over its 70 hectares, the population density works out to about 734 people per square kilometre. The sex ratio was 954 women for every 1,000 men.
