Where is Paharipur?

Paharipur is a village of Patiala tehsil in Patiala district, Punjab, in the Malwa region of the state. The 2011 directory recorded Sanaur, about 15 kilometres away, as its nearest town. The village falls in the Sanaur community development block and has its own gram panchayat. In the census record it carries village code 036630, and it covers 158 hectares.

Population and households

The 2011 census counted 483 people in Paharipur: 248 men and 235 women, living in 92 households, an average of about 5.2 people per household.
